Medium Detail: acrylic on canvas
This was painted on commission as a gift for a beekeeper. The brief was a bee (of course) with a grevillia or native Australian flower of some sort. I provided the reference photos, with the client (in this instance the beekeeper's wife) approving them and rough sketches before the painting was started. I'm really happy to report everyone is very happy with the final result.
