Predator and prey.....I photographed some super cool Mantis action today. I heard the moment this beast of a predator caught this Cicada. Thrashing its wings, this Cicada had no chance as the Mantis has barbs on its legs, giving no chance of its prey struggling free. Like a horror movie, eaten alive. The Mantis even had time to pose for the camera during the feast.
