Medium Detail: Pencil on Paper
In this piece the use of 16 shades of grey along with blue tones has created light and shade establishing a 3D feel into the drawing. Black and Paynes Grey Pan Pastel was added as a base to further bring out the detail of the hair. Drawing done using a combination of both Prismacolor Premier and Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils along with Pan Pastels on Fabriano "hot press" paper. 25% cotton (300g/m2).
