I am a self taught artist who has drawn practically all of my life, from early childhood. These days I have turned my hand to drawing pet portraits as I have a love of animals, particularly dogs. I am inspired by their beautiful expressions, the look in their eyes, & the colours in their fur. I love to draw mostly in top quality coloured pencils, such as Faber Castell Polychromos. I also use water colour pencils & pastel pencil, sometimes using all of these mediums in the one drawing for depth & definition. All of my drawings are done from a photo by eye. This is a challenge of skill for me that I pursue with avid enjoyment. I am looking to make beautiful hand drawn pet portraits for people to have an enduring immortalisation of their beloved pet.
