Lara Louise Karpeljuk is a self taught award-winning artist who, only in recent years, found the time to explore and develop her skills further. She is forever expanding her expertise as she likes to explore new mediums, textures and colours.

Lara sketches the most intricate black and white pencil drawings using mainly animals as her subjects. She often uses plywood to draw or paint on as it gives a more natural and warm feel to the finished product.
Lara’s watercolour works are quiet the opposite to her pencil work, very loose and colourful with a touch of black pen for definition, these works will brighten up any room and are joyful to look at.
A more detailed painting style of flowers as well as animals is achieved with acrylics or mixed media.
