I work principally as a children's picture book artist and mural painter. So naturally I am drawn to the imaginative and unusual. When illustrating another author's work, or a story of my own, I look for the unexpected angle or perspective. With a background in zoology, I especially love all things animal - living, extinct and imaginary. Book artwork is rendered in acrylic paint and watercolour pencil, and murals are done in house paint!
