Enoch Hlisic was born in 1948 in a small town in the then Yugoslavia, now known as Croatia.
He always had a talent and passion for art, producing some artwork in his early twenties, however due to the cost of materials and other pursuits, his artistic skills were put on the backburner.
He migrated to Australia in the early seventies where he then married and had two children. He spent nearly forty years as a manager in a pharmaceutical company. During the nineties he again picked up his passion for painting, having lessons and studying the techniques of many of the great artists, from Monet and Renoir to current artists.
He has settled on the impressionist style using oils, both with the brush and artist’s knife.
